AUTHORITY

“Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you.”

Luke 10:19

REALIZE THE POWER WITHIN YOU

Your pain and suffering was already paid for on the cross of Calvary. Living a continuous life of pain, bondage and suffering is not Christian reality that God has called us to live for, so stop carrying a cross of defeat.

“Then Jesus told his disciples, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what shall a man give in return for his soul? For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done. Truly, I say to you, there are some standing here who will not taste death until they see the Son of Man coming in his kingdom.”

MATTHEW 16:24-28

The first step is realizing a unconfined desire to be set free in Jesus name. The second step is recognizing that the only deliverer and victor is Jesus Christ. The third step is knowing your weapons.

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”

2 CORINTHIANS 10:4-5

The fourth step is refuse to be deceived and use the light of the Lord to illuminate darkness. Address the lies in your thought patterns and renew your mind by the word of God and REPENT (change your mind). Acknowledge that sin has no place in your life and sincerely agree to the word of God that it is eradicated, evicted, thrown away and shut out of your life in Jesus Name.

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 JOHN 1:9

The fifth step is to recognize that the authority God has granted you through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross is what makes you different than everybody else. As a believer in Christ love the Lord aloud. We are called to heal the seek, cast out demons, share the gospel and raise the dead.

In His Office,

Abigail M.
